Ah Blogspot

So after being unable to read pretty much ANY blog on blogspot and getting a DNS error instead (which was not unique to me OR my service provider), I can finally see the blogs again.

But this one still appears to be weirded out. One post disappeared yesterday and multiple comments so I have no faith for at least a while that things have stabilized.

I wish I would at least hear back from them on the request I sent in to have them look into it.

ah well…..

Flame Control

So I have an interesting personal quandry….

When someone is annoying the shit out of you, not flaming or attacking but just has a manner of behavior that RUBS on you badly, on a loop that you do not own or manage but do actively participate in (as do they but they aren’t an owner either).

Do you :
1) Say something on the loop when that person is being annoying?
2) Say something to the person in private mail?
3) Complain to the owner(s)?
4) Go to lurking only?
5) Don’t read anything posted by that person again? (i.e. flip the idiot bit)
6) Leave the loop?

I’m just stuck. I lost my cool yesterday and came close today though I did manage to only respond with sarcasm instead of an outright flame.

I guess my biggest issue is I am ticked off when someone seems to go out of their way to make other people appear to be uneducated and/or stupid. I realize that there’s free speech and the only thing *I* can control is my own reaction but apparently this is a big hot button for me.

It makes me wonder how other people control their desire to flame the crap out of someone on a loop…

Any advice?

The Plot Thickens

Sorry, couldn’t help myself :) I blame Dakota Cassidy.

Raven’s White Hart is humming along. My test readers like it so far (only 8% done and finished chapter 4) but that makes me feel good. Let’s hope I can keep that track record through the rest.

I’ve discovered it’s very very hard to write the end of a sexy scene that I was really … umm… into when my husband decides to insist on reading online comics to me from across the room. I didn’t snarl (but I wanted to). I still managed to finish the scene after he went to bed. Maybe I should wear headphones so he thinks I can’t hear him anyway and doesn’t try??? Maybe next time I’ll suggest some excerpts from my favorite erotica authors instead … he does have a sexy voice but even that doesn’t cause Sluggy Freelance to turn me on. Sigh.

I was home with a sick child today but while I was ignoring the various kid shows, I did manage to plot out the first of my paranomal comedy series. I don’t think that one will be as long as RWH because IMHO comedy does better when it doesn’t try to be funny for a long time….

Well, off to try to make my 1000 word goal for the day.
