This picture was taken at a friend’s house one afternoon in May. I liked the architectural interest of the opening fiddleheads of all the ferns in their yard.

I had an hour to spend just taking my camera out at a local river park yesterday and got some nice pictures. I’ll be inflicting them on you periodically.
This eagle was sitting on the driftwood across the river and I just barely got a chance to snap a picture before the loud people coming down the trail behind me startled him off. The picture is just a little out of focus but I’m keeping it anyway.

These are some trees in my back “yard” – it was fairly early but I liked the way they sat against the blue sky.
I’m having fun – though 2 pictures out of maybe 30 were keepers.
